Naw Benny, you got this one wrong man. After living in a 'WOKE' society for the last 4 years, not many, including myself', are all that willing to help (or put our 'life' on the line) for others nowadays...

Did you forget 'Danial Penny' already? I haven't. He's one of many who tried to help others and wound up in jail, even if only for a short while.

SCENERIO:

If a little kid runs out in the street and a 'stranger' jumps in to help, but the parents and bystanders didn't see the whole incident unfold; the first thing they're going to think is "he's trying to kidnap my kid". (It's understandable considering the high rate of human trafficking going on today)

However, I don't feel like spending time in a lengthy, corrupt court trial playing this 'he said/she said game' trying to defend my 'honorable actions' so, I just avoid those situations altogether. I already went through this once with a psycho neighbor and I won't ever do it again! I already know how useless our judicial systems are (both federal & local). The cops are useless too!

I protect my own (and our 'circle') and that's it.

A person can actually be 'sued' for trying to 'help'. No thank you.
